Hi. I'm often quite surprise at the depth of enjoyment one can derive from simply wasting time finding bizarre and amusing web sites. I thought I would add this page in case you are similarly inclined to find information online you never actually wanted to know. Enjoy. This is pure entertainment. The Cheese Site
This is a wealth of cheese information. The site claims over 600 types of cheese in the database. My favorite was yak cheese from Tibet.

Fade to Black
A truly warped comedy magazine. They are rather obsessed with criticism of religion though. Not for the overly religious, but if you are willing to have a sense of humor, go for it. An example of just how offensive they can be is their hosting of a mailserver for the godisdead.com domain. I enjoyed many things on this page though. The moron-a-thon talk show analysis is quite amusing.

The Cow Page
This page is made by a guy who is truly obsessed. Yet, I was strangely compelled by his thoroughness.

The Outhouses Tour
This doesn't need much explanation. Poop is always amusing....to a point......scratch that...it's always amusing.

The Scoop on Poop
Case in point - another poop page. More than I needed to know, but I can't help that now. Here's a quote from the page:
" The fat sea cucumber below (left) produces a pretty, coiled, crenulated poop rosette (right) that people always pick up when they find it, because it's pretty and doesn't look like poop."

Esoterica: The Journal of Esoteric Studies
My mother said that sometimes in doctoral studies, you have to deal with the "esoteric bullshit". Here is a whole journal dedicated to it. Yet, it is strangely compelling. It's actually a study of unpopular Western practices in knowledge-seeking. Maybe I'll just get PhDs until I retire...
